KARI Camp - Merciline shares her work with other children

Under its Kurumbas Art Revival Initiative (KARI), the dedicated team from One Earth Foundation held another successful camp for the special children of Mercy Home in Coonoor.   These are very gifted children and we were impressed with their effort and dedication.  Many had put in hours of practice after the first camp and we could see the tremendous improvement in their work.  Well, we were pleased to see Reshma and Abhilash join the camp – they are residents of the neighborhood.

Great job, kids!.  Keep it up.

Children show their works after the Camp

KARI is an initiative by One Earth Foundation to create awareness about the dying art form of Kurumbas style of painting, train young Kurumbas children and to provide livelihood opportunities to current and upcoming artists.  For further information, please contact
